If you need cash, a pawn shop gives you two options: pawn your item for a loan, or sell it outright. Here's how to choose.
How a pawn loan works
- You bring in an item of value, and we offer you a cash loan based on it.
- We hold the item while you have the loan.
- Repay the loan and you get your item back. Loan repayments are made in cash.
- No credit check is needed, because the item secures the loan.
Ask at the counter for current loan terms.
How selling works
- You bring in the item, we make an offer in person, and you're paid in cash on the spot.
- There's nothing to repay.
Which is right for you?
Pawn if:
- You want the item back, like a family ring, a work tool, or your guitar.
- You need cash for a short time.
- You know you can repay the loan.
Sell if:
- You don't need the item anymore, like broken jewelry or an old laptop.
- You'd rather not have a loan to repay.
- You want the simplest option.
Not sure? Tell us at the counter what you need, and we'll walk you through both options. See our services.
